Why has the sound quality of my hearing aid changed?

  1. Your hearing may have changed.
  2. Your listening environments may have changed. For example, a school teacher typically has very different listening needs in the summer than during the school year.
  3. You may have debris such as wax or dry skin in your ear canal or part of the hearing aid.
  4. Your brain may have adapted to the sound and the hearing aid needs an adjustment.
  5. Dependent upon age of hearing aid, it may be time for replacement.
