Deana Gepfert

Patient Care Coordinator

Deana graduated from Midwestern State University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. She worked as a coordinator in the training department and then worked her way into a Systems Engineer at EDS for 10 years. After that she was a stay-at-home Mom while her children attended elementary school. Deana experienced first hand what other families do when they have someone that cannot hear. Deana’s daughter, Ashton, lost her hearing at the age of 2 ½ after contracting a severe case of chicken pox. Ashton became a patient of Dr. Gillentine’s in 2000. Deana was involved as a homeroom Mom and with PTA while her children attended elementary school and then began substitute teaching. When her children completed middle school she decided to come to work for Dr. Gillentine as a Patient Care Coordinator. Because of her experience with a hearing impaired child and knowing the care that Dr. Gillentine puts into her patients, Deana was excited for the opportunity. She loves being with people and feeling like she is making a difference. Deana has a wonderful husband and a boy and girl set of twins. She loves spending time with her family.
